FELLOS BEACH<\/h3>

Easily accessible beach northwest of Andros, just 4 km from Gavrio, with white sand, tamarisk trees, amazing sunset overlooking Cape D'Oro and blue waters. VORI BEACH<\/h3>

In the eastern part of the island, Vori beach is one of the most picturesque beaches in Andros and the most isolated. It is paved with pebbles and with a special feature of the beach is the shipwreck of a merchant ship that has been there for several years. In the list of the most impressive beaches in Andros, Zorkos beach is definitely in the top three. A magnificent beach, with arched configuration, thick pebbles and dark blue waters. Historical Monasteries<\/h3>

The monasteries in Andros make it one of the most important religious destinations in Greece and are open to visitors all year round. Andros has a long and important religious history, while spirituality and deep faith have always accompanied the people of Andros. Most monasteries in Andros, dating from the Byzantine era to the last years of the Ottoman Empire, have endured with strenuous efforts over time and some of them have been renovated relatively recently. The towers of Andros were constructed as mansions with a clearly defensive organization for the protection of the occupants and their goods, mainly from raids by pirates and conquerors.
